The choir were thrilled to see St Peter’s church, Kineton, filled to overflowing once again with an audience who’d come to celebrate the approach to Christmas in songs old and new. The remaining two weeks before Christmas are still busy for the choir as they will be taking part in the U3A Christmas afternoon, singing carols at two care homes in Kineton, singing with St Peter’s Carol Service, and relaxing over their annual Christmas meal.

Tuesday rehearsals now pause over the Christmas period, before meeting again on Tuesday 6 January 2026 at 7.30 pm in the Methodist Church Hall in Kineton for the new term. As the choir maintain the challenge and variety of singing from all genres of music, next term will be a programme of traditional choral music, the hauntingly beautiful Faure Requiem, and the lively Rutter Requiem composed by a living composer, John Rutter.
